YouTuber Marina Joyce is being linked with rumors of abuse and drug use, and her fans are concerned.
If you’ve been on Twitter for the last day, the hashtag #SaveMarinaJoyce has been near the top of the trending topics all day. But who is Marina Joyce, exactly?
Marina Joyce is a YouTuber from England who makes videos about fashion tips, but ever since she got a new boyfriend, her fans have pointed out that her videos haven’t been the same – namely, the happiness in her face is gone. Her latest video, titled “Date Outfit Ideas”, has gotten 3 million views in four days, and seemingly contains clues throughout that point to the fact that she’s being abused, and forced into making videos.
This blog post picks out most of those clues, which include what sounds like her whispering “help me” 13 seconds in, her forced smiles throughout, and the fact that she has bruises on her back and arm.
The other popular theory regarding Marina Joyce is that she’s on drugs, namely speed. In addition to having bags under her eyes and looking away in her video, she displays some common side effects of speed which include “repeating herself, inhaling a lot, and blinking her eyes a lot more than normal.”
Marina Joyce also tweeted out a link to a meet-up on August 3 which starts at 6:30 am. Having an event start at that time is odd enough as it is, but the blog post also states that shootings and kidnappings have happened at that location.
Lots of people have reached out on Twitter trying to extend their help.

Watched Marina Joyce's YouTube videos and I wish I could unsee them. Girl's clearly on drugs but her behaviour hints more towards abuse

But Marina Joyce, or whoever runs her account, has denied anything is wrong.

However, there’s way too many red flags for people to believe that. Whatever is going on with Marina Joyce, whether it’s a drug or abuse problem, it’s pretty clear that she needs help.
