10 things you forgot about the Los Angeles Rams

5. Los Angeles Rams of Anaheim 

The Los Angeles Rams had played in the classic setting of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum since 1946, in 1980 that all changed as they moved to Anaheim and shared a stadium with the California Angels. So yes, before there was a Los Angeles Angeles of Anaheim, there were the Los Angeles Rams of Anaheim.

4. The Fearsome Foursome 

Lamar Lundy, Rosey Grier, Merlin Olsen and Deacon Jones made up the famous “Fearsome Foursome”, not only did they change the game with their aggressive style of play but they were stars on TV, apart of civil rights and remained life long friends until the passing of Lundy, Olsen and Jones.

Grier remains the last living member of the group and he carries the legend of this “Fearsome Foursome”.

3. The Rams had Hunter 

Before he was a TV start in the 1980’s, Fred Dryer was was a role player on the Rams defense from 1972-1981. He collected over 100 sacks in his career and made the Pro Bowl in 1975.
