The San Diego Chargers are a team that faces an uncertain future going forward. With the team struggling to make the playoffs last season, the coaching staff can’t afford to miss the playoffs yet again.

They also may not be in San Diego much longer and could find themselves in Los Angeles soon if they can’t come together with the city on a plan for a new stadium. All these questions and more cast a big distraction over the team and it will be interesting to see how the players respond.

Last year, the Chargers had one of their more poor seasons and the team finished with one of the worst records in the league. The good news is that Philip Rivers can still sling the ball around a bit and with Ken Whisenhunt back at offensive coordinator, the Chargers could get back on the right track.

They also have Joey Bosa coming in as their top pick in the draft and they are hoping that he can be just as dominant at the professional level that he was in college. It will be interesting to see in training camp just how fast he can move up the depth chart.

The first practice for the Chargers at Chargers Park takes place on Saturday, July 30.
