The latest NFL rumors indicate that New York Giants receiver Victor Cruz is not part of the PUP list and will be part of training camp practice on Friday.
Cruz not being on the PUP list is a surprise considering his slow recovery over the past year and a half. However, it is good news for a squad that has had a significant number of injuries over the past three seasons.
No PUP for Victor Cruz. Set to practice tomorrow.

Not only are fans excited, but Cruz’s own excitement to return to the field of play is also evident in a recent video clip posted online.

While Cruz isn’t listed on the PUP, ESPN is reporting that three of his teammates will start training camp on the list including defensive tackles Damon Harrison and Jay Bromley, as well as linebacker J.T. Thomas. It’s reported that none of the injuries appear to be serious.

Having Cruz back will certainly be one of the topics of interest in the upcoming season for a Giants team that has been struggling. In the past two seasons, they finished outside of the playoffs in the fierce NFC with a record of 6-10.
Cruz was not only a Pro Bowler in 2012, but was part of New York’s Super Bowl squad that year.
Eli Manning will certainly be happy to see his favorite target from the past back on the field and heading towards the end zone this coming season. Giants fans will also be hoping the duo starts connecting again just like four years ago.
