Andre Johnson will be staying in the AFC South, as the Tennessee Titans have signed him.

Andre Johnson has been in the NFL since 2003, starting with the Houston Texans in their second year as an expansion franchise. He stayed with them from 2003-14, putting up six 1,000-yard seasons. Johnson then went to the Indianapolis Colts for one year, accumulating 503 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
Johnson has apparently found a new home with the Tennessee Titans, though, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The deal is for two years, with $2.5 million being owed in 2016.

Signing Johnson adds to a group of Titans skill position players that has depth. This includes 2015 Heisman Trophy winner Derrick Henry, former Cowboys star DeMarco Murray, and wide receivers Dorial Beckham-Green and Kendall Wright. They will all be crucial for quarterback Marcus Mariota, who is entering his sophomore NFL season. Having the presence of this University of Miami alumnus is great for Mariota and the wide receiver group.
Johnson’s place on the depth chart remains to be seen. Based on his production from 2015, he could fill in as the No. 3 pass catcher behind Beckham-Green and Wright. If one of them struggles or gets hurt, the 35-year-old could step in as a replacement.
