If football were an Olympic sport, how would we split up the USA? Let’s take a look at the teams compiled from the West, Midwest, South and East.

The NFL is the most popular professional sport in the United States. Fans love the high-octane offense and bone-crushing hits delivered on a weekly basis. We as a society simply cannot get enough of the NFL and American Football in general, but it is not like that in the rest of the world.

There are other countries who play the same style of football as the United States, but it has not taken over the world the way that it has taken over our country. With that being the case, a massive majority of the football best players in the world come from the United States.

Sure, there are a handful of NFL players who come from other countries, but for the most part, the NFL is made up of players who were born in the United States. Simply put, if football were made an Olympic sport, Team USA would absolutely dominate.

It is fun to put together a team full of NFL stars to represent Team USA in a theoretical Olympic games, but that group would destroy any other country in its way. If the Olympic committee were to decide to add football to the games, then we would have to come up with another strategy.

How about splitting up Team USA in to four different regions? By taking NFL athletes and splitting them up in to teams from the West, Midwest, South and East based on where they were born in the USA, we can put together an interesting mix of rosters that would make for a great round of games.

The other countries would still not stand a chance, but it would be extremely fun to see the guys defending the part of the country where they came from and get a chance to go for an Olympic Gold medal.

In this post we are going to compile complete starting roster for these West, Midwest, South and East teams. In the end, we will give away the Gold, Silver and Bronze medal predictions based on the rosters given. Let’s get started.
