After Kevin Durant left the Oklahoma City Thunder to join the Golden State Warriors in free agency, it’s time for a new beginning in Oklahoma City. The player most directly affected by Durant’s decision was his former teammate and All-NBA first teamer Russell Westbrook.

Westbrook had a season to remember last year that included an astonishing 18 triple doubles and nearly 24 points a game.

While many expect Westbrook to post even better numbers this season with Durant gone, he has seemingly remained quiet on the Durant decision. Though, Westbrook did hint to the kids at his basketball camp that he’d be returning to the Thunder.

Now, it seems that Westbrook has finally broken his silence with regards to Durant’s decision. Well, sort of. A Facebook user was able to track down the perennial All-Star and ask him his take on Durant. In the 10 second video, Westbrook essentially laughs off the question about Durant. A video of the interaction can be seen in the link below:

It seems as though Westbrook does have bad feelings about his former teammate’s decision, as most expected. Though, at the same time as Westbrook basically dismisses Durant, the smirk on his face shows that he may have an even bigger chip on his shoulder for next season than he already had in the past. I feel sorry for the other 29 teams in the Association, because Russ will be in full attack mode next season.
