Tom Brady is suspended for four-games, but that won’t stop him from putting in time at Training Camp.
Four-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady is partaking in training camp, though he won’t be allowed around the team during his four-game suspension.
That doesn’t mean he won’t be hard at work, however.
Indeed, Brady is nothing if not a perfectionist — someone who’s burning drive to be the absolute best has made him arguably the greatest quarterback to ever play the game.

Unfortunately, the two-time MVP will be forced to watch from the sidelines — specifically, his living room couch — for New England’s first four games, the punishment handed down (then appealed, then reaffirmed, then appealed again, then affirmed again) for Brady’s alleged involvement in Deflategate.
That said, if you actually think Brady will just be holing up on his gorgeous Italian chaise, you sir/maddam have another thing coming.
So what, exactly, will Brady be up to?
Former teammate Kevin Faulk may have the answer:
"“He’s definitely going to work,” Faulk said. “There’s no doubt in my mind. He’s probably going to do the same regimen he’s been doing for the last how many years he’s been playing football, stay in that routine, and yes, I’m almost positive Wes Welker is going to be here. He probably will reach out to Randy (Moss), and Randy will come because Randy’s in still good shape. Real good shape.”"
While no one can fully replace Brady’s production and leadership, the belief in Patriots camp is that Jimmy Garoppolo is as prepared as any backup could hope to be at this point.
We’ll definitely learn more once we see Garoppolo in preseason action.
On the bright side, three of New England’s first four games will be at home, which should bode well for Garoppolo’s significant learning curve.
