Sewing skills may not be a prerequisite for basketball stars, but Andrew Bogut has been showcasing his lately. One of the newest members of the Dallas Mavericks, Andrew Bogut, recently posted a photo to his Twitter account showing his skills off as he created his own shower curtain.

Not only is it productive on Bogut’s part, but also a major safeguard for himself and his fellow athletes. There have already been numerous problems reported ahead of the Rio Olympics including political instability and the zika virus. The Australians also have had it particularly rough as they were forced to evacuate their building due to toilets flooding and then a fire.

In addition to those recent incidents suffered by the Australians, there were some items stolen during the fire evacuation such as a laptop and Zika-protective team shirts. With that in mind, Bogut is doing all he can to help out and prevent shower flooding from creating yet another incident.

Bogut will head up the Australian men’s basketball team in the Summer Games with their first game scheduled against France for this coming Saturday. The team will take on Team USA on Wednesday, Aug. 10 in a preliminary round game set for the Barra Carioca Arena. During that matchup, Bogut will get a friendly reunion with his former teammates Draymond Green and Klay Thompson, while also going against his current teammate, Harrison Barnes.
