For years now, the Michigan Wolverines have been an adidas school, but that’s a thing of the past now, as they’ve made the ‘jump’ to the Jordan Brand.

Since making the transition, they’ve wasted no time unveiling their new Jumpman uniforms.

This kind of change couldn’t have come at a better time for the Wolverines, considering there seems to be a new energy in Ann Arbor, especially with head coach Jim Harbaugh in charge.

In Harbaugh’s first season on the sideline at this alma mater, he led the Wolverines to an impressive record of (10-3), which included a Citrus Bowl victory over the Florida Gators.

As Harbaugh preps his squad for year two, expectations are very high, and they wouldn’t want it to be any other way.

“We have big hopes. We have big dreams. We have lofty goals. All those are achievable,” he said. “They have to be worked for. You can accomplish anything if the work is realized.”

In the meanwhile, Michigan will bask in the glory of becoming the first football team to become a member of the Jordan/Jumpman family.

To take things even further, Jim Harbaugh announced that Michael Jordan will be an honorary captain at Michigan’s season opener against Hawaii.

While all of this is nice and dandy, none of it will matter if the Wolverines don’t live up to expectations. The pressure is there, for sure.
