The Rams and head coach Jeff Fisher are starting to get worried about the state of their young running back. According to CBS Sports, Fisher told the media, “I haven’t personally spoken with Tre since the season ended. I tried numerous times to reach him. Tre has made a decision not to communicate with us, not to talk. Not talking to his teammates. Right now we’re more concerned about Tre Mason’s well-being than we are his football career.”

Mason has had troubles with police enforcement in the recent past. According to TMZ, the young back has had five police-related incidents in just four months. In March, Mason was tasered by police and arrested for charges of marijuana possession, resisting arrest, and reckless driving.

In his most recent incident on July 23, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office filed a report noting that his mother because her son was “acting unusual and making irrational statements,” from TMZ. The report also mentioned that when Mason saw the cops, he threatened to call the White House and have them all fired – and made bizarre statements about Al Qaeda.

Mason spent his first two seasons with the Rams after being drafted 75th overall in 2014 out of Auburn. He’s got a total of 972 rushing yards with six touchdowns in his young career.
