Samsung has already proven that phones can be thin and pretty without sacrificing the headphone port.

Next month, Apple is expected to release the iPhone 7 and rumors are all over the place right now. There have been reports that Apple would release three different versions at once, that there would be two different cameras, and that Apple was planning to remove the headphone jack at the bottom to make the phone even thinner (and perhaps, more bendy).

When people heard about the possibility of Apple removing the headphone port, they speculated on whether the headphones they shipped with the phone would be Bluetooth or simply plug into the lightning port.

Samsung, however, doesn’t care what kind of headphones Apple will use to replace the standard 3.5 mm ones that the entire world is already used to.

In response to the possibility of Apple including a dongle-type adapter with iPhone 7’s, Apple’s biggest competitor made it pretty clear that their upcoming phones would be bigger, better, and still include a headphone jack.

During Samsung’s Unpacked event, senior vice president, Justin Denison, shared some of the details that Android users can expect from the Galaxy Note 7, including a better camera, an iris scanner, and more security features.

Then, he addressed the audience and said, “Do you wanna know what else it comes with? An audio jack.”

Apple prides itself on being a leader in innovation, but the consensus among users is that removing the headphone jack would be a little much and expecting users to carry around a third piece along with their headphones and phone is just a little out of the question.

Instead of Bluetooth headphones or a stupid dongle, they should’ve been focusing on tangle-free headphones.

Stay tuned for more iPhone 7 updates as we get closer to the official unveiling and release.
