It’s time to get an early start on your fantasy football preparations with NFL Preseason less than a week away and the regular season rapidly approaching in just a few weeks. One of the things every fantasy owner is searching for as we get closer to the biggest day of the year–whenever your fantasy football draft is–is players who are being generally underrated in all the preseason rankings.  To help you find these players who will over deliver on their draft position, we’ll focus today on the top 5 undervalued QBs in the first of our Fantasy Football Sleepers 2016 series.

There are lots of places to get rankings and every owner thinks they know where to go to get just the right “list.” The trick isn’t really having a perfect ranking list, but knowing which players are lower on other lists so you can grab them and get good production from later in the draft.

In this list of undervalued QBs, you won’t find Andrew Luck or Aaron Rodgers because everyone will have a high draft slot reserved for those premium QBs. The players here are definitely higher risk than the top-tier options, but you can get them at a much lower draft slot.  The key to fantasy football success is not only getting production from where you expect (top names) but supplementing that with the right “surprise” contributions from players throughout your draft board.
