BYU punter Jonny Linehan dropped the hottest country music track of all time on Thursday, a special teams themed Luke Bryan parody
If there are two things that you can definitively say about college football players, one is that they are prone to doing the same stupid, silly things that most college kids do. The second thing that can be said is that the specialists and special teams players often beat to the tune of their own drums. There may not be a better example of both of these things than the country music video that BYU punter Jonny Linehan dropped on Thursday.

The BYU specialist from New Zealand uploaded a full country music video to his YouTube channel on Thursday entitled “Puntin’, Kickin’ and Lovin’ Every Day,” a special teams themed parody of the Luke Bryan song “Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day.”
What resulted from Linehan’s work is one of the most hilarious and equally strange videos that you’re going to see for quite a while:
First off, that this is the first tribute made for special teams players while also being made by a special teams player in college football may be the most shocking thing about this music video.
Outside of that, though, Linehan needs a record contract and a talk with the PA announcer at BYU. If this song isn’t playing every time that he comes out to punt, it’s going to be the biggest missed opportunity in the history of college football.
