Nintendo is set to reveal some big news next month (well, that’s what’s rumored) and as fans of the company and video games, we can’t wait to see what they have in store for players everywhere. At E3 2016, Nintendo dedicated their whole show to showing off brand-new gameplay for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It was officially the first real gameplay footage for the game and as fans of the Legend of Zelda series, we couldn’t be anymore excited.
Earlier this year, it was announced by Nintendo that the Nintendo NX will be launching in March of 2017 and that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be releasing both on the Nintendo Wii U and the Nintendo NX. Although this is great news for the NX, it’s also the only game that we know of that will be releasing on the NX. But, rumors have been circulating about two powerhouse video games franchises that will also be releasing on the console once it launches.
According to Gamerant, sources close to Nintendo have confirmed that the company is working on new Mario and Pokemon games. This is absolutely huge news for Nintendo fans everywhere since these two properties are some of the most popular video games franchises of all time. Not only that, but it’ll also be launching alongside the new Zelda game, which is an incredible lineup if it ends up being true.
We still know almost nothing about the new Nintendo NX, although rumors have been circulating about the console. All we know is that Nintendo has promised a new and unique experience and we should find out more next month.
