When it comes to the greatest passers in NFL history, very few will ever rival the things that Brett Favre did on the football field. Known as a gunslinger, Favre had a rifle for an arm and he wasn’t afraid to take chances down the field.
Favre’s lack of conservatism resulted in a lot of interceptions throughout his career, but it ended up in even more scoring opportunities for the Green Bay Packers and he ultimately led the team to two Super Bowl appearances, wining one of them.
Not only did Favre wow with the highlights, he also was a fan favorite and people loved his genuineness on the field. What made Favre’s career even more impressive was the amount of years that he was able to play in the league.
Although nothing rivaled his years in Green Bay, Favre was able to maintain his arm and his knowledge of the game kept him in the game for a long time and allowed him to create many records.
He was an easy choice for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
