The NFL Preseason really gets started this weekend with the Hall of Fame enshrinement on Saturday and the annual Hall of Fame Game kicking off this Sunday night. The return of football games means it’s time to get started on your fantasy football draft preparations. Earlier this week, we started our Training Camp look at players who are being undervalued at this point in draft buildup with a look at the top 5 undervalued QBs in the first of our Fantasy Football Sleepers 2016 series. Today, we’ll turn our attention to some running backs to keep an eye on who I think will outperform their current draft ranking.

There are lots of places to get rankings and every owner thinks they know where to go to get just the right “list.” The trick isn’t really having a perfect ranking list, but knowing which players are lower on other lists so you can grab them and get good production from later in the draft.

In this list of undervalued RBs, you won’t find Le’Veon Bell, David Johnson, or Adrian Peterson because everyone will have a high draft slot reserved for those premium QBs. The players you can find here are definitely higher risk than the top-tier options, but you can get them at a much lower draft slot.  The key to fantasy football success is not only getting production from where you expect (top names) but supplementing that with the right “surprise” contributions from players throughout your draft board.
