Taking a look at what channel number the Olympics Basketball Channel is on for Time Warner, DirecTV, and Comcast
The Olympics offer something for everyone when it comes to the sports and the games that they love. No matter what you’re into, it’s a near certainty that there is something that will happen over the course of the two-plus weeks that the 2016 Rio Olympics are on that you’ll want to watch. However, it’d be foolish to deny that one of the most popular events and sports at the games is basketball.

Though there are only technically two competitions for men’s and women’s basketball at the Olympics, there are still 12 teams in both competitions that are split into two groups and then play a round-robin format to determine tournament seeding before things then proceed from there.
One of the interesting things, though, is that with all of the games that have to be played, NBC has elected to delegate much of the coverage, especially in the preliminary rounds to the sport-specific Olympics Basketball Channel.
Obviously the Olympics Basketball Channel isn’t a channel that people are familiar with as it’s brand new and essentially never used. As such, many people should be asking what channel it’s on.
Here are the channel listings for the Olympics Basketball Channel on Time Warner, DirecTV, and Comcast:
Time Warner: 425 (Midwest, 1794/Hawaii, 1472)
DirecTV: 97
Comcast: Not Carried
Sorry Comcast subscribers. However, you should still be able to catch all of the coverage online via live streams throughout the Olympics even if you don’t have the Olympics Basketball Channel.
