Live stream info and how to watch the Olympics swimming events only Sunday, August 7 online

The Olympics swimming action at the 2016 Rio Olympics started on Day 1 and lasted throughout the day, culminating with four gold medals being handed out on Saturday night. Now it’s time for Day 2 of Olympics swimming and there’s even more hardware to be handed out and more big names to hit the pool.

After swimming in the silver medal 4x100m Women’s Freestyle Relay team, 19-year-old Katie Ledecky is back to try and capture gold again in the 400m Women’s Freestyle and will have the chance to do so. Moreover, there will be a bevy of other swimming events that will take place throughout the day.

Swimming will get started just after Noon ET as the Women’s 100m Backstroke heats will start before the Men’s 200m Freestyle heats then begin soon after. Next up after that will be the Women’s 100m Breaststroke heats before the Men’s 100m Backstroke heats get into the pool. That’s when Ledecky and company will get going in the Women’s 400m Freestyle before the day concludes with two heats in the Men’s 4x100m Freestyle Relay.

Coming into the evening action of Olympics swimming, we’ll kick things off with the Women’s 100m Butterfly Final at 9:03 p.m. ET before several semifinals races. Medal races in the Men’s 100m Breaststroke and the Women’s 400m Freestyles will be up after that. After a view more semifinal races, the night will end with the Men’s 4x100m Freestyle Relay gold medal race.

With so much set to happen, you won’t want to miss any of the action in the pool and you don’t have to. The broadcast will be on NBC on TV, but live streaming of every race will be available through NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports app.
