Manchester United will have midfielder Paul Pogba in for a medical so to finalize his transfer from Juventus

No one can say that they don’t know for sure anymore.

On Saturday morning as United took on Leicester City for the Community Shield, Man U announced on their website an official release that they will have Pogba in for a medical so that they can finalize his transfer from Juventus to the Premier League and Manchester United.

Pogba has long been one of the most coveted players on the transfer market and the teams targeting him this summer are probably the best indication of that. When it’s nothing but the giants of the footballing world like United, Real Madrid, and so on trying to make a transfer happen, that’s a pretty damn good indication that you might be a top notch talent.

What’s most interesting about Pogba heading to Manchester United is the fact that it’s actually a return for the 23-year-old. The electric midfielder was in the youth academy for United from 2009-11 before making a handful of appearances for the senior team. However, he left unhappy and chose not to re-sign with United, thus leading to the Juventus move.

But now he’s coming back and Manchester United. And though it was the ultimately underdog winning the league last season, one of the traditional powers looks as if they could truly be a dominant force in the Premier League this season.
