South. Jacksonville Jaguars. 2. player. 52. . AFC

No head coach in the NFL faces more hot-seat pressure than the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Gus Bradley. Entering year four as the Jags’ head coach, Bradley might finally have a roster capable of bringing the North Florida franchise back into the AFC Playoff fold.

Bradley has benefitted from great front-office work by general manager David Caldwell, a brilliant offensive coordinator in Greg Olson, and a quirky-but-business-wise owner in Shahid Khan. It’s time for Bradley to rise to the occasion and turn around Jacksonville’s lackluster defense in 2016.

With his job seemingly on the line, Bradley needs help getting after the passer in the AFC South, why with slingers like Luck, Mariota, and Osweiler all roaming in and out the pocket. If Jacksonville’s defense can get a boost from Bosa in a situational role, there’s every chance the Jaguars’ pass rush will be serviceable enough to help supplement a playoff push this winter.

Khan opened up his wallet this offseason to help make Jacksonville a major player in NFL free agency, signing defensive tackle Malik Jackson, cornerback Prince Amukamara, and running Chris Ivory. Meanwhile, the front office turned in one of the better draft performances, landing cornerback Jalen Ramsey and stud linebacker Myles Jack.

With Caldwell’s ability to find value in all rounds of the draft, Jacksonville can afford to trade next year’s first round pick to San Diego in exchange for a pass rushing product like Bosa. Bosa also grew up in Florida, meaning the move could have the added benefit of being a kind of homecoming for the Fort Lauderdale native.
