No, not that handball.

The Olympics offer a wide variety of sports, but handball seems to be one that captures the attention of U.S. sports fans every four years.

The game can be described as soccer with one’s hands, although there’s actually quite a bit more going on. For those who’ve never seen it, check out the clip below.

Tim Tebow would fit perfectly as a member of a handball team. With his size and agility he would be able to break away from defenders and fire the ball into the net before the goalie even realized what was happening.

The sport would also present an opportunity for Tebow to be a true hero, as the U.S. men’s team has not qualified for the Olympics in handball since 1988. Imagine Tim Tebow leading the U.S. team on the world’s stage in four years, in the process making the sport immensely more popular in the U.S. and helping it catch on all over the country.

The only real stage for the sport in the U.S. is the Olympics, so Tebow could start training once this whole baseball thing doesn’t work out. It would be a long commitment, but it could lead to him finding his way in a sport many have never seen before.
