After two days of dressage, a demanding cross-country slate on Monday, and Tuesday’s jumping  competitions, the Rio de Janeiro Olympics Equestrian Eventing is officially finished. Despite glitches in dressage, time faults and falls on cross country, and fallen rails in stadium jumping, all competing horses and riders came out of the competition in fine condition.

None more so than the French team, which won the team gold in Equestrian Eventing with the lowest final score of 169.00. Gold medal winning team members and their horses include Thibaut Vallette (Qing du Briot), Mathieu Lemoine (Bart L), Karim Laghouag (Entebbe) and Astier Nicolas (Piaf de B’Neville).
