Tim Tebow swinging a baseball bat to train for his pursuit of an MLB career is everything you’ll ever need in life
Tim Tebow is out here just doing whatever he pleases these days, apparently. After not sticking in the NFL and then heading to the broadcast booth for ESPN on the SEC Network, the former Florida Gators superstar and Heisman Trophy winner is hanging up the helmet and grabbing the lumber in a pursuit of a MLB career. Yes, this is 100 percent serious.

Obviously this reads more like the plot for some sort of Tim Tebow fan-fiction, but this is definitely happening and Tebow is going to try and get into professional baseball.
And while we can make jokes about Tim Tebow: MLB superstar all we please, his trainer for this foray onto the diamond, Chad Moeller, posted a video of him taking batting practice and, all things considered, Tebow looks quite comfortable swinging the lumber:
There’s clearly a substantial difference than standing in a cage and swinging away than there is about actually hitting MLB pitching (or even minor league pitching, for that matter). However, the mechanics of that swing look more than solid and like he belongs at the plate.
Who knows if this is just going to be another ring in the Tim Tebow circus that’s been ongoing for years or if it’s going to result into him revitalizing his pro sports career. Either way, it’s going to be pure calamity and we should all grab the popcorn and enjoy the ride.
