Just when you thought you had heard the last of Tim Tebow, the man comes off the top rope with a revelation so shocking that it’s a surprise we are even surprised.

No, not that revelation. Nor is it a revelation that he’s going to be running for office. The latter is likely a decade or so away from actually happening, and in the meantime Tebow is going to be trying his hand at sports — again.

Except this time he’s not going to try and hack it for an NFL or CFL team. Instead, Tebow is flipping the script and is trying to break into baseball.

For those of you thinking that Tebow’s push to play in baseball is some publicity stunt, think again.

Beyond the fact that his agent has spoken out about this, we can believe this because Tebow doesn’t pull publicity stunts. The most outlandish thing he’s ever done for attention was that anti-abortion commercial that aired during the Super Bowl a handful of years ago.

Other than that, Tebow has never really been an attention seeker and has actually strayed from the spotlight. He outright refused to speak at the Republican National Convention after Donald Trump said he would be there. If that’s not the epitome of dodging the spotlight for someone in Tebow’s position then I don’t know what is.
