Michael Phelps celebrates with USA men’s basketball team (Photos)

After winning his 20th and 21st Olympic gold medals on Tuesday night, USA swimmer Michael Phelps celebrated with members of the USA men’s basketball team.

Michael Phelps is the most decorated U.S. Olympian of all-time and has been since the London Olympics in 2012. The swimmer continues to build on his treasure trove of gold medals, achieving his 20th and 21st Olympic gold medals on Tuesday night, including a first-place finish in the 200m butterfly.
The USA men’s basketball team was on hand to not only watch Phelps achieve history but to also celebrate as fellow Olympians after the events.

Kevin Durant was quite possibly one of the biggest fan in the arena on Tuesday night, posting several images and videos to his Instagram.
DeMarcus Cousins grabbed a picture with Phelps, as well as a video of Phelps climbing out of the pool to celebrate his gold medal.

DeAndre Jordan and Draymond Green both grabbed individual pictures with Phelps as well, and Kyle Lowry added another video of Phelps addressing his fellow Olympians while walking into the tunnel following his victories.

Phelps would later take to Instagram to personally thank the team himself, thanking the team “for rolling through tonight for a little extra support!!”
Both Phelps and Team USA will compete on Wednesday. Phelps is scheduled to compete at 1:24 p.m. ET in the men’s 200m individual medley heats, and the USA men’s basketball team will take to the court at 6 p.m. ET to take on Australia in another round of pool play.
