Everything you need to know to watch Jaguars at Jets in the NFL preseason live stream online
To say that the offseason has been a run-of-the-mill affair for the New York Jets would have to mean that you haven’t been paying attention. Not only were they forced to make some tough decisions in free agency from the start, but then found themselves entrenched in the Ryan Fitzpatrick contract saga that seemingly lasted of years. However, Fitzpatrick is now locked up with the Jets and they’ll begin their NFL preseason on Thursday night as they welcome the Jacksonville Jaguars to MetLife Stadium.
Though the Fitzpatrick saga for the Jets has basically been the NFL equivalent of waging a war over a well that’s dried up, the Jets still enter the 2016 preseason with hopes that they can recapture some of the magic that they found with the quarterback last season. Possibly the biggest part of that will be receivers Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker once again making life for Fitzpatrick easier. It also wouldn’t hurt the cause for the Jets if Muhammad Wilkerson and the defense can be as dominant as they were at many times last year.
As for the Jaguars, there’s plenty of reason to be excited about the young pieces they’ve got coming in or are watching develop. Blake Bortles and Allen Robinson, among others, showed real promise on the offense last season and Jacksonville would love to see that start to flourish immediately in the preseason. Defensively, the huge draft additions of Jalen Ramsey and Myles Jack have everyone’s attention and they’ll be on display against the Jets in this preseason matchup.
