Lions at Steelers live stream: TV schedule, time and more
Everything you need to know about how to watch Lions at Steelers in the NFL preseason online
The offense that the Pittsburgh Steelers put on the field in the 2015 season was all fire emojis. Antonio Brown played on another level all year while a rotating quarterback and running back situation stayed consistent. Now the Steelers will look to try and show that same proficiency in 2016. Whether they can or not will be previewed on Thursday night. On Thursday, it’ll be Lions at Steelers in an NFL preseason matchup from Heinz Field.
In addition to simply being in awe of Brown, running back is a spot to watch for Pittsburgh. Starting running back Le’Veon Bell is suspended for the first four games of the regular season. Therefore, seeing what kind of shape he’s in for the preseason will give an eye into his mental state. Also, fans will be looking at his backup in veteran DeAngelo Williams to see how he looks at his age in the preseason. If that weren’t enough, the Steelers defense is also worth keeping an eye on to see if they can capitalize on steps forward last year from two years ago.
Meanwhile, the Lions are left looking for answers in a lot of areas. After watching their defense be depleted last offseason, they now no longer have Calvin Johnson. Even if he had been less effective of late, he was still their biggest offensive weapon. Now Matthew Stafford and Golden Tate have plenty of slack to make up for. That will begin against the Steelers on Friday evening.
