Thursday’s Olympics fencing marks the beginning of the team events, starting with the women’s team epee event. Team USA will be represented by Courtney Hurley, Kelley Hurley, and Katharine Holmes. The Team USA women have not made it into the final rounds of any Olympics fencing competition thus far, so this is the chance for the team to get into medal contention.
Olympics fencing continues on Thursday after a long day of competition on Wednesday with the women’s individual foil tournament as well as the men’s individual sabre event.
