A Boston Red Sox fan trolled Yankees designated hitter Alex Rodriguez with a sign that suggests that A-Rod shot Harambe.
Twitter is a fun place where things can go viral in a flash. One of those things was the death of Harambe the gorilla. Harambe was a gorilla at the Cincinnati Zoo that was shot after an infant fell into its cage. Since his death, many Twitter users have rallied behind him.
One creative Boston Red Sox fan used Harambe to troll New York Yankees designated hitter Alex Rodriguez by making a sign that suggests that it was A-Rod who shot Harambe.

A-Rod gets a lot of hate for a variety of reasons. He plays for the Yankees, which is reason enough for any Red Sox fan to hate him irrationally. Rodriguez has also been tied to PEDs twice in his career. He will be retiring on Friday after playing in one last game at Yankees Stadium.
Regardless of how one feels about Rodriguez, his greatness cannot be denied. He is one of the five players who has gotten at least 3,000 hits and 500 home runs. Three of the other four players to do it are in the Hall of Fame (Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, and Eddie Murray). The fourth is Rafael Palmeiro, who many believed to be a Hall of Famer until he tested positive for PEDs. His legacy is very complicated, but that doesn’t take away from anything that A-Rod has done on the field.
Thursday is the last time that Rodriguez will play at Fenway Park. It will also be the last time that Rodriguez will face the Red Sox. A-Rod is very familiar with Fenway Park, having spent his most at bats there as a player on the road. It seems that Red Sox fans aren’t going to give him a warm goodbye.
