Everton face Tottenham at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Saturday. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

As much as the rest of the world enjoyed Leicester’s title run last season, Tottenham fans cried out at their team’s inability to capitalize on the shortcomings of the typical English soccer heavyweights. Despite the efforts of Golden Ball winner Harry Kane and keeper Hugo Lloris, Spurs finished their campaign in third. A 5-1 defeat to relegated Newcastle ended another most disappointing year at White Hart Lane. As Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino knows, that loss makes it all the more important for Spurs to begin this season with a win.

Coming off back-to-back 11th place finishes, Everton enter this season the beneficiaries of a familiar sight in English soccer: a new majority shareholder. Along with the capital of steel magnate Farhad Moshiri, the Toffees now boast Ronald Koeman as their manager, and will be hoping the former Southampton man’s direction is an improvement on the scattershot style of one Roberto Martinez. Koeman’s biggest challenge lies in defense, as Everton allowed an awful 55 goals against in 2015-16. Stopping Kane will certainly be a test. New arrival Ashley Williams, fresh off a sparkling Euro 2016 campaign with Wales, should help plug the gaps.
