Dez Bryant wasted little time in the Cowboys first NFL preseason game before starting his 2016 highlight reel with two magnificent catches
The Dallas Cowboys started their 2016 NFL preseason run on Saturday night visiting the Los Angeles Rams. It was a historic night in LA as NFL football returned for the first time since 1995. While history was being made, though, Dez Bryant and the Cowboys were just going to get back to their usual ways.
After returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown, Dak Prescott’s first drive was stopped short. On his second drive, he seemed pretty accustomed to dipping into the Cowboys bread and butter for a rookie—namely throwing the football the way of Dez Bryant and watching him go to work.
Prescott first found Bryant on the left sideline as he threw a high pass where only his man could go get it. Dez did what Dez does, rising up over the defender and then tapping both feet inbounds to complete the marvelous catch:

You're not winning a jump ball against him... #DALvsLA https://t.co/qoSlOCBTEG
Bryant and Prescott saved a little extra magic for later in the drive. After moving the ball a bit more, the rookie targeted Bryant on the sideline again. And again Bryant went up over the defender and made the catch. He then reached across the goal line for the fantastic score:
Defenses beware.@DezBryant is doing @DezBryant things.

And there's nothing you can do about it. #DALvsLA https://t.co/7FxizeqZxl
Sometimes you play good defense and the other team has Dez Bryant. Such is life in the NFL.
The Cowboys struggled mightily last season after Romo went out with a broken clavicle twice. However, it appears Prescott is already working to remedy those issues and doing a damn good job of it to start—with the help of Bryant, of course.
