Marcus Peters makes insane interception off Russell Wilson (Video)

Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters made an incredible interception against Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.

The starters never play much in the first preseason games in the NFL. However, that didn’t stop Defensive Rookie of the Year Marcus Peters from making plays before his day was done. After the Chiefs went down the field and scored on the Seahawks, it was the defenses turn to shine.

They let the Seahawks deep into their own territory and it appeared Seattle would add a score of their own. However, Peters made an incredible effort to intercept Russell Wilson in the end zone and kept the Seahawks off the board. The fans in Kansas City went crazy over their emerging superstar talent making a play.

It wasn’t a bad pass by Wilson as he tried to thread the needle, it was just better coverage on the play from Peters. He has become an interception machine in his short time in the league and it’s not going to be long before other teams just throw away from him entirely.

It might only be preseason, but Peters is looking in mid-season form already. If he keeps making plays like this one, he will enter himself into the conversation for best cornerback in the NFL. He might already even be there.
