Twitter learned tonight that Usain Bolt is not human after he won his third straight gold medal in the 100 meter dash.

After Justin Gatlin and Usain Bolt both made the 100 meter finals in Rio at the 2016 Rio Olympics, everyone looked forward to an epic showdown. The two rivals have had numerous battles over the years. Bolt has always come out on top. That did not change tonight.

While Gatlin got an impressive start and at one point had a significant lead over Bolt, it didn’t matter. Bolt, as he always does, closed strong. His closing might be the most dangerous thing about him. It doesn’t matter how far ahead you are after 50 meters because Bolt will catch you regardless. Tonight, Gatlin learned that once again.

If Bolt has ran his last 100 meter dash in the Olympics, he went out with a bang. Just like Michael Phelps, Bolt’s name will go down in history as the best ever at what he did. Phelps dominated at swimming. His butterfly was unbeatable.

Likewise, Bolt is unbeatable as a sprinter. While Phelps might have more medals than Bolt, Bolt has not received the opportunities that Phelps has gotten. Bolt can only run at most three or four events in the Olympics. Phelps raced in nine events in his prime. It’s impossible to compare the two, so let’s just admit that they are both the best ever.

When Bolt raced, it felt like everyone on Twitter dropped what they were doing just to watch the legend. Bolt did not disappoint. Though Bolt still has the 200 meter dash and the 4×100 relay left in Rio, everyone realized that this might be the last time that Bolt will ever run a 100 meter dash. Twitter paid their respects to the man and reacted accordingly. What a way for Bolt to win.

Despite how some may have a problem with it — for some reason — Usain Bolt remains the fastest man on earth.
