The Koroks return in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Nintendo has released some more footage of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on their Facebook page. We got a first look at the Temple of Time last week, and now, the Koroks.

With The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild being officially unveiled at this years E3 show, it didn’t take fans long enough to want more footage. Recently, Nintendo has been promoting the game on their Facebook page and although they’re brief clips of the game, they’re still good enough to keep the fans excited.

Last week, we got a small glimpse at the Temple of Time in the game and it was beautiful to look at. From the aesthetics to the music, it’s definitely a nostalgic feeling for fans of the franchise and it’s hard not to get excited for what’s to come. Now, on Monday, the official page Legend of Zelda Facebook page posted a brief, but new video of the game.

In the new gameplay video, you see Link traveling the land of Hyrule as he encounters different types of Koroks. That’s right. Koroks are returning in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. For those who played The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, the Koroks are a species, also known as the Forest Spirits, who evolved from those of Kokiri descent.

There’s definitely a lot of speculation now as to where Breath of the Wild takes place, considering that Koroks are in the game. It looks like this new game may very well be a successor to The Wind Waker, which is very exciting.
