WWE RAW results live tracker for the August 15 episode from Corpus Christi, TX, the go-home show for SummerSlam 2016
WWE RAW will be going live from Corpus Christi, TX on Monday, August 15 with now less than a week until WWE SummerSlam 2016. The card for the second-biggest pay-per-view of the year is seemingly all set, but now it’s time to polish off these feuds so they’re shining their brightest in Brooklyn on Sunday. That all begins with the festivities at WWE RAW.
Perhaps the biggest thing to watch will be Finn Balor and Seth Rollins and any interaction they may have on Monday night. Balor appeared in a vignette last week saying he’s bringing “The Demon” to SummerSlam, but Rollins has yet to respond. Whatever the next step is on Monday night for these two could make the buildup to their match even better.
Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman are also slated to make another WWE RAW appearance in Corpus Christi. The feud between Brock and Randy Orton has been growing into a frenzy with one guy invading the other’s show and attacking. Now we’ll see what The Beast and The Advocate have to say leading up to the SummerSlam match. Moreover, we’ll see if Orton shows up one final time before the PPV.
Sasha Banks and Charlotte still haven’t lost any pleasantries between the two of them leading up to SummerSlam. The Queen of WWE is aiming to take the newly won title off of the waist of The Boss. However, Banks, seems keen on settling in for a long reign as champion, so that’ll be easier said than done.
With Roman Reigns and Rusev, Enzo and Big Cass, Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho, and so many more putting a bow on their programs, Monday’s show should be phenomenal. As such, you’ll want to keep up with all of the WWE RAW results.
We’ve got you covered there as we’ll live track the WWE RAW results below once the show begins at 8 p.m. ET.
Angry Rusev is Angry
Before cutting into the arena, there was a pre-taped segment with Seth Rollins. Rollins was in Corpus Christi where he taunted Finn Balor, saying he was calling out The Demon.

In the arena, WWE RAW started with Rusev and Lana in the ring. They were there essentially to bemoan what happened with Lana last week on the show and demand an apology from Roman Reigns.
That first brought out Mick Foley and then Stephanie McMahon to try and put an end to it. However, Rusev was having none of it, which then brought Roman out of the back. Reigns then began to run down the couple with a promo, leading to a heated confrontation. Despite being in a match at SummerSlam, Foley saw these two men weren’t going to wait until then. Thus, he made the RAW main event Rusev vs Reigns for “Lana’s honor,” not the US title.

Sheamus vs Sami Zayn
This was a hard-hitting match largely dominated by Sheamus. Zayn took a big beating. However, when Cesaro got up from commentary, Sheamus took his eye off the ball and ate a Helluva Kick. That was enough for Zayn to score the pin and the win.

Winner: Sami Zayn
After the match, Sheamus and Cesaro tried to go at one another’s throats. However, Mick Foley wouldn’t allow it. The WWE RAW GM then announced that the two men would be in a Best-of-Seven series, with Match 1 being at SummerSlam.

New Day (Kofi and Xavier) vs Dudley Boyz
After lamenting Big E’s groin injury, Kofi and Xavier had a quick match with the Dudleys. The tag champs looked like it as they tore them apart to pick up the win.

The Nia-Jax-Demolishing-Local-Talent Weekly Invitational
As the name would have you believe, Nia Jax faced off with Rachel Levy, a local talent. Levy was destroyed quickly, giving Nia another squash win.

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman were out next to hype up the former’s match vs Randy Orton at SummerSlam. However, Heath Slater interrupted him in a move that no one saw coming.

Brock was unamused by Slater’s antics and invited him down to the ring. He then gave him two options, both of which resulted in pain for Slater. Though he tried to remain tough, Heath ate an F-5 for his trouble.

Suplex City promo. More Heyman yelling. Yadda, yadda, yadda. Close curtain.
Big Cass vs Kevin Owens
Enzo and Big Cass were down to the ring first to cut one of their patented promos, this one consisting of BBQ references that Enzo somehow magically made work.
Sarcastically enjoying the promo, Owens and his tag team partner at SummerSlam came down to the ring. Cass looked like an absolute behemoth next to Owens and wrestled like it as well.

However, Owens was less interested in getting a beating or even trying to win and more interested in trying to take out Cass and Enzo. That’s exactly what he and Jericho did, eating the DQ loss in the process.

Backstage, Tom Phillips went to catch up with Roman Reigns. Before Reigns could even finishing answering the first question, though, he was attacked brutally by Rusev.

Prime Time Players vs The Shining Stars
Titus O’Neil convinced Darren Young to reunite with him in the Prime Time Players on Monday. Predictably, it was all a ruse. When PTP had the match one, Titus turned on Young and hit him with Clash of the Titus.

That allowed the Shining Stars to pick up the cheap win, but with little consequence as this was all about the full-turn.
Winners: The Shining Stars
Neville vs Jinder Mahal
This was a match that seemed set on showing off Neville’s skills and aerial ability more than they already have been. He flew all over the place and ultimately nailed the Red Arrow for the win.

Winner: Neville
Jon Stewart was then announced as the guest host of SummerSlam.
Seth Rollins Meets The Demon
After searching for “The Demon King” all day, Mick Foley coyly told Rollins to check in the ring. Seth obliged as he was fired up and cut a nice promo. He talked about this being his company and Balor not being ready, all before mocking the Demon for not showing up. Of course, he went on for too long and Finn Balor indeed showed up, full Demon entrance and all.
Though he missed the Coup de Grace, he hit a dive to the outside and sent Rollins running.

Definitely a strong night for Balor.
The Golden Truth vs Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson
This match was quick as The Club took out Truth and Goldust in a flash.
However, this was all a vehicle to get New Day out there to try and get some revenge. They were ever so close to giving Anderson a taste of his own below-the-belt medicine, but Gallows made the save and they took off.

Charlotte vs Alicia Fox
Before the former Women’s Champion came out to the ring, she was backstage with her cronie, Dana Brooke. While Dana was continuing to try and do the Queen’s bidding, Charlotte was having absolutely none of it. She even went as far to tell Dana that losing the title and everything else was her fault. Some friendship.
Out in the ring, Charlotte dispatched Foxy quickly, but only to bait Sasha Banks down from commentary down to the ring. She was then jumped by Dana and the challenger for the title, sending an emphatic message.

Rusev vs Roman Reigns
Roman was nursing an injured arm from the start of the match after the earlier attack and Rusev wisely targeted it immediately. It was then methodic and calculated how the Bulgarian Brute wore him down.

However, the always-looking-strong Reigns fought back to find all of the strength left in his body. He broke out of The Accolade (why on RAW, we’ll never know) and then hit multiple Superman Punches and a Spear to get the win.
Winner: Roman Reigns
And that was how the show ended, with a whimper when there was a roar earlier.
Even with all of this going down, we still have no idea what could happen at SummerSlam. In an age of the Internet where mystery is hard to pull off, that’s quite an exciting feeling.
