With the final episode of WWE Raw before SummerSlam in the books, a look at the match card for Sunday.
WWE SummerSlam 2016 will take place on Sunday, August 21, and the match card may be set after Monday’s episode of Raw. One bout got added to the show, which brings the count to 10, excluding the pre-show.
The main event, while not confirmed, looks to be Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor for the WWE Universal Championship. This will crown the first holder of this belt. Based on fans seeing the Demon King entrance on Raw, we’ll likely have this persona appear at SummerSlam.
Another big match from the flagship show will be Rusev defending the WWE United States Championship against Roman Reigns. They battled on Raw, with the latter winning the match. A rematch will be seen Sunday. So, who will come out on top?

This slate of matches should make for an entertaining SummerSlam PPV. It’s six total title matches and four intriguing non-belt bouts. Something else could be added with SmackDown still yet to air. Might more matches from the blue brand appear? Could the pre-show receive a few contests?
