The 2016 Rio Olympics men’s 3m springboard event will come to an end on Tuesday, as 18 divers begin their quest beginning with the semifinals.

The 2016 Rio Olympics have seen some incredible performances from the divers, and on Tuesday, another round of medals will be handed out. The men’s 3m springboard event will begin in the morning with the semifinal round, as 18 divers will take to the pool for shot in the finals. Later on in the day, the divers will try to earn their medals, as the finals will begin at 5:00 p.m. ET.

The preliminary round on Monday was an incredible spectacle of diving, as once again, China reigned supreme. Cao Yuan, who is a favorite to win the event, scored the most points during his six dives. Yuan posted a score of 498.70, which included two dives that went over 90.00 points.

The 2012 London Olympics gold medalist, Russia’s Ilia Zakharov, had to put up a fight for his spot in the semifinals, but he barely made it in. Zakharov finished the day with the 18th-highest point total, making him the final entry into the semifinals. The scores all erase heading into Tuesday, so he will start with a clean slate in his quest for a repeat.

Rommel Pacheco of Mexico scored the second-highest amount of points, tallying 488.25 with his six dives. His final dive was his best, as he scored a preliminary-high 96.90 points. He should be flying high headed into Tuesday.

The United States will be well represented on Tuesday, as both divers made it to the semifinals. Kristian Ipsen actually racked up the third-highest point total, collecting 461.35 points on the day. Fellow countryman Mike Hixon picked up 421.60 points, which was good for tenth overall.

Another diver to watch on Tuesday is Great Britain’s Jack Laugher, who already has won gold during the 2016 Olympics. He was a part of the duo that took home the gold in the men’s 3m synchronized springboard, and was solid during the preliminary round.
