Rio Olympics wrestling live stream: Watch online – August 16th
By David Rouben
Live stream info and how to watch Olympics Greco-Roman wrestling online on August 16.
The third day of wrestling at the Olympics will also be the last day of the Greco-Roman competition. It will feature wrestlers in the 66 kg and 98 kg weight class, respectively. Even though Americans have dominated the field at Rio so far, they have had no such luck in wrestling, as there hasn’t been a single medal won by the U.S. to this point. That won’t change on August 16 since there won’t be any Americans competing in either field.
Nonetheless, there’s still a lot of talent on display, and the first two days of wrestling have been high on excitement. The biggest name to keep an eye on in each field is Frank Staebler (66 kg) and Ghasem Rezaei (98 kg). Staebler is the highest ranked wrestler in the world in his weight class, while Rezaei won Olympic gold in London. He’ll be looking to defend his medal and add to Iran’s total. They only have three medals to date, but one of them came in wrestling.
