After winning the heavyweight title, Tyson Fury dropped out of his rematch with Wladimir Klitschko because of injury. He is now being accused of trying to change terms of signed contract for October 29 bout.
Wladimir Klitschko is one mad ex-heavyweight champion. When Tyson Fury took his titles last November, it was the first time he suffered a defeat since April 2004, but that is not what has him so hot. Klitschko (64-4, 53 KO) was scheduled to have a rematch with the new champ in July, but Fury (25-0, 18 KO) pulled out because he suffered an ankle injury. It was rescheduled for October 29, only it appears that date could be jeopardy because of a contract squabble, according to a report by BBC.
The Kazakhstan native is threatening to take Fury to court. “Unfortunately, Team Fury is trying to change the terms of already signed contract multiple times, and it is going on endlessly,” Klitschko said. “To protect my own rights, and eventually see the rematch, I am forced to go to court.”

Not long after the above video was posted on Twitter, Klitschko’s manager, Bernd Boente, explained to the Boxing News why legal action is a possibility.
“They want to change details in the contract. We cannot discuss that publicly – but, as you know, we’ve already done press conferences in Manchester, in Cologne. Now Team Fury wants to change many parts of the contract, important parts, financial conditions etc, etc, and now I think we have to make sure we implement our rights and so we have to go to court in Germany because the contract is under German jurisdiction. We have enforced our rights and that is what we will do now.”
Klitschko had his three belts, WBA, WBO and IBF, taken from him by unanimous decision.

Fury has not responded to the charges, but he has mapped out what he plans to do over his next three bouts, a rematch with Klitschko and unification fights with Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder.
The Manchester, England native has other issues besides Klitschko. He is facing doping allegations after the UK Anti-Doping charged him with alleged presence of a banned substance. There is a November 4 hearing and since the allegations were levied, Fury has denied the charge. He was initially suspended on June 24, however, it was overturned on appeal.
