Olympic badminton live stream: Watch online – August 18

Four medals will be up for grabs in Olympic badminton on Thursday, with the finals coming in the Men’s and Women’s Doubles. Here’s how to watch them online.
Day 8 of Olympic badminton at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil will have four medals up for grabs. Both the Men’s and the Women’s Doubles Finals will occur in the morning at Riocentro. There will also be action in the Women’s Singles Semifinals on Thursday morning.
The bronze medal match in the Women’s Doubles between South Korea’s Jung Kyung Eun and Shin Seung Chan versus China’s Tang Yuanting and Yu Yang will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. local time (7:30 a.m. ET).
The gold medal match in the Women’s Doubles between Japan’s Misaki Matsutomo and Ayaka Takahashi versus Denmark’s Christinna Pedersen and Kamilla Rytter Juhl will conclude Olympic badminton on Thursday when they take to the court at 11:50 a.m. local time (10:50 a.m. ET).
Women’s Singles Semifinals matches will begin at 9:20 a.m. local time (8:20 AM ET). Spain’s Carolina Marin and China’s Li Xuerui will have the first match. Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara and India’s V. Sindhu Pusarla will have the second match coming at 11:00 a.m. local time (10:00 a.m. ET).
The only match for the Men’s Doubles on Thursday will be the bronze medal match. That will be between China’s Chai Biao and Hong Wei versus Great Britain’s Marcus Ellis and Chris Langridge. They’ll face off for the bronze at promptly 10:10 a.m. local time (9:10 a.m. ET).
Though it makes the most sense to use the NBCOlympics.com live stream to not miss a second of Day 8 Olympic badminton action, USA will coverage the Men’s and Women’s Doubles Finals starting at 10:00 a.m. ET. USA will air badminton in conjunction with taekwondo action until 1:00 PM ET on Thursday.
