Working out sucks. As someone who has tried to get in shape for a few years now to no avail, I feel like I can confidently say this. For NBA players working out is a big part of their job, which means that they need to find ways to make it entertaining beyond hanging out with teammates and listening to music. Meyers Leonard found a way to do that on Thursday, showing off to Instagram a game called medicine ball tennis.

I have a lot of questions about this game that I hope one day to get answered by Meyers.

More from NBA

First, which lines are in play? I can’t tell if this is a normal tennis court with just some extra lines or if the group put the yellow lines on themselves. Trying to throw a medicine ball across the net from the normal tennis lines seems far, but Leonard is an NBA player so maybe it is easy to him.

Second, do you have to copy the throw of the person serving? Leonard threw the ball over his head after the return and it looks like his friend did the same after catching the ball. That seems pretty difficult to do, especially as the game goes long.

Finally, who came up with this game? Was it Leonard himself after joking around one day or his trainer? Does the entire Blazers roster play? Most importantly, if they do, how good is Damian Lillard at it? These are all important questions. And we here at the Friendly Bounce promise to do our best to get answers to them all.
