Andre Agassi is one of the most successful American tennis players of all time. He has four Australian Open titles, a French Open title, a Wimbledon title, two US Open titles and a gold medal in the 1996 Summer Olympics to his name. Agassi has won 60 career titles in singles and a doubles title as well. He resides in Las Vegas and now has a spot on his state’s Mount Rushmore.

Jerry Tarkanian coached the UNLV basketball team to a 1990 national championship. Well known for his antics, including towel-biting, he led the Rebels to four Final Fours. He had a 509-105 record with UNLV. Tarkanian constantly fought against the NCAA, but his motivational tactics make him one of the best basketball coaches ever.

Randall Cunningham is arguably the biggest star that UNLV football has ever had. He was both a quarterback and a punter. Though his best season was undermined due to the Rebels use of illegal players, Cunningham helped put UNLV football on the map. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings and Baltimore Ravens in the NFL.

Julia Mancuso is one of the most successful female Olympians ever. She made three Olympic appearances, winning a gold medal in 2006 in the Giant Slalom, two silver medals in 2010 (downhill and combined) and a bronze medal in 2014 (combined).
