Baylor doesn’t know which uniforms they’ll be wearing for their opener next weekend, because fans haven’t decided on them yet

To say that the offseason for the Baylor Bears football program was a disaster would be the understatement of the century. They were at the forefront of a sex abuse scandal that not only brought unwanted scrutiny to the program, but also saw head coach Art Briles lose his job. So with this being the case, Baylor fans will take anything positive that they can get at this point.

If there is one thing that they can look forward to, however, it’s the fact that the 2016 college football season is just about here, as it begins in just under two weeks. From there, the team can get back on the field under the direction of new head coach Jim Grobe and start to put the horrible happenings of the offseason in the past.

And now, to make things even more enjoyable for the Baylor fan base, they will have the chance to make a pretty important choice for the Bears’ opener against Northwestern State on September 2. They will be able to vote on which uniforms the team will wear when they take the field for the 2016 college football season.

We’ve seen throughout the course of the past few years that Baylor does have some pretty nice and unique uniform combinations, so giving the fans the chance to pick one is a nice way to move on from the madness that was this past offseason.

Baylor fans want nothing more than to move on from the nightmare they went through, and getting the college football season started in this way is the perfect start to moving along.
