Day 3 of Olympic taekwondo will have eight medals up for grabs in the Men’s and Women’s welterweight division. Here’s how to watch it all online.

Two days of Olympic taekwondo are in the books with two more to from Carioca Arena 3 in Rio de Janeiro. The first two days didn’t feature a single American in either the flyweight or featherweight division. That will not be the case as two of the four United States’ competitors in taekwondo will take the stage.

In the Men’s 80 kilogram weight class, two-time Olympic gold medalist Steven Lopez will compete in what will almost certainly be his final Olympiad. Lopez is 37 years old and ranked No. 13 in the 16-man field.

The top four seeds in the Men’s welterweight class are as follows: Mehdi Khodabakhshi of Iran, Aaron Cook of Maldova, Cheick Sallah Cisse of Ivory Coast, and Albert Gaun of Russia. Does Lopez have anything left in the tank to pull off a few upsets and earn one last Olympic medal.

In the Women’s 67 kilogram weight class, 2012 bronze medalist Paige McPherson will compete as a No. 7 seed in Friday’s daylong tournament. She earn he 2012 medal in the same weight class as a 21-year-old four years ago in London, but she will have to upset at least one of the top four seeds to another Olympic medal.

The top four seeds in the Women’s welterweight class are as follows: Haby Niare of France, Elin Johansson of Sweden, Chuang Chia-Chia of Chinese Taipei, and Nur Tatar of Turkey. Can McPherson put it all together to win back-to-back medals in the welterweight class in the Summer Olympic Games?

Since Day 3 of Olympic taekwondo will run throughout the day on Friday, it might make the best sense to make good use of the available live stream at NBCOlympics.com. That being said, twice will taekwondo be featured on American network television.

Olympic taekwondo will air on NBCSN at 11:00 a.m. ET in conjunction with rhythmic gymnastics during the early part of the day’s events. As Day 3 reaches its culmination, again can Olympic taekwondo be seen in NBCSN at 9:00 PM ET in conjunction with a Men’s Volleyball Semifinal and boxing.
