Live stream info and how to watch the gold medal and bronze medal matches in Olympics women’s field hockey from Rio 2016 online on Friday, August 19

After 13 days worth of the highest level of women’s field hockey in the world, it finally comes down to this. On Day 14 of the 2016 Rio Olympics, the women’s field hockey finals will be held as both the bronze medal match and gold medal match will be played at Olympic Hockey Centre. If the competition to date has taught us one thing it’s that this will be something you don’t want to miss.

In the bronze medal match that faces off at 11 a.m. ET, it will be Germany taking on New Zealand in what should be an absolutely fantastic match. Both teams came out of Group A in the preliminary round and had strong showings in the knockout stage. However, no one’s denying Germany’s spot as an underdog right now and they’d love to continue their run.

Netherlands was projected to be playing for a gold medal in Rio and they lived up to the hype. After winning Group A, they’ve weathered the storm and made it to the match that starts at 4 p.m. ET on Friday. Now they’ll be up against the Group B winners in Great Britain who have looked equally dominant in this tournament and have an even better record than the Dutch. Now it’s a question of who’ll come to play when it’s all on the line.
