Swansea City face Hull City at Liberty Stadium on Saturday, August 20. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Both Swansea City and Hull City aren’t exactly expected to take the Premier League by storm in the 2016-17 season. Swansea saw their first-team squad absolute ransacked during the transfer window. Losing Andre Ayew, Ashley Williams, and a slew of others is a big blow to try and recover from. Even still, the Swans were able to open up their campaign on Match Day 1 with a win and three points toward the effort. They’re still looking for answers on the back line to replace Williams’ role. However, they’ll hope that their attack bolstered by new addition Fernando Llorente and their goal-scorer from last week in Leroy Fer to carry them despite an unsure defense.
Meanwhile, Hull City may have pulled off the biggest upset of Match Day 1 as they knocked off Leicester City. Considering that Hull is supposed to be in a relegation battle this year, knocking off the defending league champs is quite impressive. Adama Diomandé and Robert Snodgrass put the two goals on the board for Hull last week. Now they’ll look to attack that vulnerable Swansea defense and get at least one point for the second-straight week.
