Cardinals Wide Receivers-Overall Outlook

Last year, the Cardinals were only 19th in pass attempts per game, but they were able to convert those attempts into the third-most passing  yards in the league.  They averaged 287.3 passing yards per game which put them behind only New Orleans and New England.  The were the top team in the NFL in yards per attempt and finished in the top five in passing touchdowns.

Carson Palmer had a huge season and seems to be a great fit for Arians vertical passing game. Palmer stayed healthy all year and threw for a career-high 4,671 yards and 35 touchdowns.  22 of those passing touchdowns went to his top three receivers making Larry Fitzgerald, John Brown, and Michael Floyd all very solid options for fantasy owners last season.

This preseason, the Cardinals offense hasn’t shown up yet with two lackluster performances.  They’ll have two more chances to get it in gear before opening week against the Patriots. There hasn’t been any turnover in the Cardinals wide receivers this offseason, but there are some injury concerns heading into the season.
