Other Cardinals wide receivers

Jaron Brown: The UDFA out of Clemson has been working as the fourth WR in practice this preseason and offers some nice depth and flexibility for the Cardinals since he can back up any of the three positions. He does drive John Brown owners crazy when he gets catches or touchdowns as the “other J-Brown.” Last season he played limited snaps but did find the end zone while having in 11 catches for 144 yards.  If one of the top-three receivers suffered a major injury, Brown would be an intriguing fantasy fill-in, but you don’t need to target him in your drafts at this point.

J.J. Nelson: Nelson is a burner who has crazy speed and a solid ability to catch the deep ball.  He caught only 11 passes last season but averaged 23.7 yards per catch on his way to 299 yards. He destroyed the Bengals in Week 11 with 142 yards on his four catches while also scoring a touchdown.  He has slipped behind Brown on the depth chart, but he could still flash some production this season.  Until he has a clear path at playing time, though, you can leave him on your waiver wire to start the season.
