Jon Stewart, for the second year in a row, made his presence felt on one of the biggest WWE shows of the year, SummerSlam

WWE SummerSlam tends to bring us a lot of memorable moments, which is why it’s one of the biggest shows of the year. Last year, without question, one of the more memorable moments was Jon Stewart showing up and getting involved in the match between John Cena and Seth Rollins, interfering on behalf of the latter, much to the surprise of fans.

Well, it was recently announced that Stewart would be in attendance once again in Brooklyn at SummerSlam, having everyone wondering what he might be doing.

It didn’t really take long for Stewart to show up on the show, as he did so in the first hour. He showed up in a backstage segment featuring the authority figures of both RAW and Smackdown, and he eventually got on the bad side of Stephanie McMahon.

"Welcome back #JonStewart to @SummerSlam! But watch what you say around @StephMcMahon… https://t.co/wTek4sBnkG— WWE (@WWE) August 21, 2016"

It was entertaining for what it was at the time, but you have to wonder whether or not Stewart will be making even more appearances on the show as the night goes on. Last year there was a story behind his interference, as he was feuding with Seth Rollins. This year, however, he may have been brought in just for name recognition, which isn’t the wort idea in the world seeing as he made such an impression last year.

Again, though, this is why SummerSlam is one of the most looked forward to WWE shows of the entire year. You never know who you’ll see on the production and when they’ll be showing up. What more could we see on Sunday night at SummerSlam aside from the Jon Stewart appearance?
